Alice in Arabialand - Annex Theatre

"Under Eden Aztlán's direction, themes related to what kinds of stories we like to tell become further heightened. Characters move up and down the aisles, exit through the lobby rather than going backstage, and even "sleep" in the back rows, making the audience more aware of how we are voyeuring into this rabbit hole ourselves, whether we are interlopers like Alice or part of the communities. To authentically depict its people and communities, with an occasional sly wink toward the ever-watching Western Gaze."

Anna Tatelman, The Sound On Stage

"Our first Show You Should Be At this Pride Season.

A genuinely good time, with visuals that nudge Orientalism into camp, humor both clever and slapstick, played earnestly on a borderless stage."

Poppy Yohz, The P-List

Women & Femmes, or Females - Theatre Off Jackson

"Must-see Seattle theatre in February"

Gemma Wilson, The Seattle Times

"Women and Femmes, or Females is a play, at times a rant, and at other times therapy. It feels more critical and important every day"

June, Sceawian

Macbeth With One Rehearsal - Thesbian Society

"A new troupe that is sweeping the nation. As it turns out, [Shakespeare With One Rehearsal] is not only accurate and a fine stunt, but it is also an evening of Transcendent Revelation. While watching this romp that was not a complete reenvisioning but also not a densely packed linguistic legacy performance, I was struck with the overarching structure of the work. Unfortunately, “Macbeth” was presented in only a single performance. Hopefully, they will do another. I will be there."

Joann Farias, Northwest Playwrights Alliance
